My assignments were at a halt because Venus was retrograde. A photographic investigator has many consultants, most of them not belonging to the conventional genre, as you can imagine. The one who made the above judgement was a psychic named Kyle. And just as I was wondering if this was true or if I was confronted, in the first time in my Photographic Investigator’s career, with the challenge of an unknown to me competition, my faithful cat helper Lupe sat on the keyboard of my ancient technology computer and I heard a soft voice reciting a poem of the 15th century Indian poet and mystic, Kabir: “Still the body, Still the mind, Still the voice inside, In silence feel the stillness move, Friends, This feeling cannot be imagined. Still The body, Still the mind, Still the voice inside, In silence feel the stillness move, Lift the veil that obscures the heart, And there you will find what you are looking for. O Slave, liberate yourself”.

Free space is vital -if a photographic investigator (and any other investigator for that matter, but you must be an investigator) wants to achieve a free mind. Greenland's pavilion was one of my favourites. Not only for it's ample space and minimal concept, but for it's purity. There is a kind of mystical serenity that emerges through your core and enwraps you completely when you are walking in pure snow. The purity of snow triggers it. And this beautiful Greenland free space world, gave you the impression of walking on snow... And as a tropical island lover that I am, I can appreciate a good snow walk, believe me.
